I had a Pancreas only transplant here. I chose this center because Northwestern Memorial has a great reputation and they have Dr. Dixon Kaufman, arguably the most respected Pancreas transplant surgeon in the US.
Next month I will be two years post transplant. |

I had my kidney transplant (first and hopefully only!) here on July 29, 2010. I also did a clinical trial of a stem cell transplant from my donor, and the hope is that I will be able to stop all anti-rejections a year post-transplant. |
